Summary:
- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define as-built configuration.
- Assist with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
- Assist in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
- Assist in providing input to design, manufacturing processes, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
- Assist in review, maintenance, and monitoring of internal documents.
- Interrogate 787 LWG and IVT models for part identification and build requirements.
- Review and interpret 2D legacy drawings for part identification and build requirements.
- Work closely with supplier management, logistics specialists, and purchase agents to coordinate part acquisition.
- Apply experience with build plans and repair or nonconformance planning.
- Utilize CMES, PDM, CAPP, REDARS, STEPS, and SAP systems.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering planning, repairs and modifications, or related work experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience with build plans and repair or nonconformance planning.
- Experience with aircraft commodities (Structures, Electrical, Tubing, Interiors, etc.).
- Experience with CMES, PDM, CAPP, REDARS, STEPS, and SAP.
- Experience interrogating 787 LWG and IVT models.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting 2D legacy drawings.
- Ability to work with supplier management, logistics specialists, and purchase agents for part acquisition.
- Willing to work rotational on-call schedule and overtime as needed (weekday and weekend).
