Hiring for a Manufacturing Planner in Stafford Springs!

Job Description

The Manufacturing Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery. This role analyzes demand, material availability, and capacity to develop effective production plans across multiple product lines. The position partners cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to resolve issues and support business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, ERP experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery and efficient operations.
  • Analyze demand, material availability, and capacity to create effective production plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, supply chain, and customer-facing departments to resolve issues.
  • Drive continuous improvements by recognizing problems, analyzing, recommending solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP System (SAP).
  • At least 3 years of experience in planning and scheduling.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook), and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor"s degree in business, supply chain, data science, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and project management.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break. The work environment is a mix of shop floor and office settings. This is a Contract position based out of Stafford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
