If aligning materials, capacity, and schedules to eliminate bottlenecks sounds like your kind of challenge, you’ll thrive as a Production Planner at Rockwell Automation in Twinsburg, OH. Picture yourself guiding order flow, tuning safety stocks, and partnering with experts in scheduling, materials, and engineering to keep production on track—every shift, every day.
You will report to the PCA Team Lead and will be on-site at our facility in Twinsburg, OH.
What You’ll Tackle
Turn demand into action: release and sequence manufacturing orders for assigned product lines/projects based on material and capacity realities.
Stay ahead of shortages: monitor SAP exceptions and component consumption, then engage suppliers to close gaps swiftly.
Steward inventory health: own levels for your portfolio and drive countermeasures with Central Material Analysts and Master Schedulers when MIN / MAX thresholds are breached.
Engineer smart buffers: refine planning parameters with Central Material Analysts to set safety stock and reorder points aligned to our materials planning playbook.
Shape the load: work with Master Schedulers and Manufacturing Engineers to understand capacity (short- and long-term) and minimize past due orders.
Launch with confidence: design and maintain material, manufacturing, and procurement strategies for NPM (new product manufacturing) and orderly phase-outs.
Stabilize availability: partner with the Master Scheduler on monthly safety stock production and targeted finished goods builds.
