Manufacturing Preventative Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift - Fort Worth, TX

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Performs repairs to equipment, building, and facilities. Is directed by Department Manager, Production Manager or Engineer on coordinating preventative maintenance in accordance to Pella's safety policies and procedures. Provides for the completion of corrective and preventative maintenance in accordance with Pella's operating procedures. Other duties assigned by manager or lead as needed.

2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm, M-F

PELLA CORPORATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalency
• Pass drug screen.
• Pass pre-employment tests, as required.
• Pass pre-work ability screen, as required.
• Pass Forklift Vision Test

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (FUNCTIONS):

• Perform preventative lubrication and inspection of all Pella Corporation's machines and equipment within a scheduled time period
• Identify machine malfunctions to prevent machine breakdown and write job orders to prevent machine breakdown
• Flexibility of work hours including mandatory overtime when business needs requires.
• Able to safe;p'./ly work with and around moving equipment.
• Ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner with team members.
• Regular / dependable attendance consistent with attendance guidelines is required.
• Operate equipment/tools that require close control, adjustment, and following production orders.
• Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job.
• Ability to learn and perform repetitive job tasks.
• Perform Total Productive Maintenance duties.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Follow Standard Work or other documented processes.
