    About the job Manufacturing Process EngineerAbout the Role:The Manufacturing Process Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing production processes, improving product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This position supports manufacturing operations, quality assurance, production planning, and technical sales by ensuring efficient, cost effective, and ISO 9001 compliant processes. The Manufacturing Engineer will lead process development, cost analysis, ERP system management, and cross functional collaboration to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and cost performance.Create and maintain shop drawings, engineering documentation, routings, and technical specifications to support production operations.Conduct process capability studies and implement Statistical Process Control, SPC, to monitor and improve process stability.Develop and maintain Bills of Material, BOMs, and ensure accuracy of ERP system data including item masters and production parameters.Perform detailed product cost analysis and margin analysis to support pricing, quoting, and profitability improvement initiatives.Collaborate with production planning to support scheduling, inventory optimization, and min-max inventory management strategies.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, participate in internal and external audits, and contribute to continuous quality management system improvements.Partner with the sales team during the quoting and order review process to evaluate manufacturability and provide technical recommendations.Review assemblies and components to identify opportunities for material consolidation, part number standardization, cost reduction, and process improvements.Lead and support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.QualificationsBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or production engineering within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and audit processes.Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization techniques.Proficiency in CAD software for engineering drawings and design modifications.Experience working with ERP systems for BOM management, production planning, and operational data analysis.Demonstrated experience in cost analysis, manufacturing cost reduction, and process efficiency improvement.Strong analytical, problem solving, and cross functional communication skills.Desired QualificationsISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification or equivalent quality certification.Experience supporting technical sales, quoting processes, and value engineering initiatives.Familiarity with environmental health and safety considerations in manufacturing environments.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis tools for reporting and performance tracking.#J-18808-Ljbffr
