You will play a key role in establishing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, high-quality production. This position focuses on developing internal systems, improving manufacturing workflows, and leading capacity expansion initiatives. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will help ensure that production operations run efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with quality and safety standards.This role will be based onsite at the new factory and will initially coincide with its construction. During this phase, the focus will be on building processes from the ground up, refining service offerings, and collaborating with a high‑performance team to prepare the facility for successful launch.ResponsibilitiesLead and optimize manufacturing processes to support timely, high‑quality production.Plan and execute cross‑functional projects including shop‑floor layout, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and tooling/fixture development.Partner with internal teams to drive process improvements, cost savings, waste reduction, and quality enhancements.Provide technical expertise to enhance manufacturing methods, technologies, and equipment.Research and implement innovative tools to accelerate and strengthen production processes.Analyze factory capacity and develop strategies to maximize output.Train team members on Lean principles and High‑Performance Team practices.Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in electrical, electronic, mechanical, industrial, or mechatronic engineering.3+ years of transformer manufacturing experience (candidates with more/less experience may be considered at different levels).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels and with external partners.Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Autodesk CAD software.Willingness to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area if not already local.Job DetailsSeniority level: Mid‑Senior levelEmployment type: Full‑timeJob function: Engineering, Manufacturing, and ProductionIndustries: Manufacturing, Engines and Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing, and Energy Technology#J-18808-Ljbffr
