Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support a growing, highly automated manufacturing operation in Rensselaer, NY. This role focuses on driving process improvements, maximizing equipment uptime, and ensuring product quality in a high-volume, tight-tolerance environment.
You will work closely with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, support product lifecycle activities, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
At least 1+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
Experience with CAD software, including SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
Knowledge of:
Manufacturing process improvement
Continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma)
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience working in an ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality environment

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
2 weeks vacation time (80 hours); health, dental & vision benefits partially paid by the employer; 401k match up to 4%. Full-time, permanent position.
