Introduction
Join our team to support Manufacturing Process Engineering activities, driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity within our Axle Assembly operations. Apply your engineering expertise to enhance manufacturing processes and lead projects from inception to completion.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing process engineering experience.
Proficiency in Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in process validation.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Prior work experience in the automotive industry or with automotive components.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Process Improvement and PPAP processes.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with assembly lines and ergonomic analysis.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Lead projects including delivery and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
Analyze carrier inventory root causes and implement corrective actions.
Create process and instruction sheets to support quality methods.
Resolve machining-related concerns and lead variability reduction initiatives.
