Step into impact: a day in the life

At our Cleveland manufacturing facility, you’ll be the technical heartbeat of the operation—partnering closely with the Engineering Manager and the department’s Plant Superintendent to keep processes reliable, efficient, and safe. Your day starts on the floor resolving equipment and process hiccups, shifts into data-driven analysis using statistical process control (SPC) to elevate batch quality, and finishes with clear follow-through on efficiency initiatives that translate into measurable results.

What you’ll do

  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, including process control systems, to stabilize operations and improve throughput and quality.
  • Apply SPC methods to reduce variability and improve batch outcomes; contribute to cost reduction, process reliability, and quality enhancement projects.
  • Coordinate and drive multiple efficiency initiatives from concept through realized benefits, ensuring accountability and sustainability.
  • Support small-scale capital projects as you build your project engineering toolkit.
  • Collaborate with vendors to define specifications, evaluate options against standards, and procure equipment, materials, and parts.
  • Work hand-in-hand with in-house maintenance and outside contractors to plan and execute repairs and improvements.
  • Analyze workflows and space needs; design and optimize equipment layouts and workspaces for maximum productivity.

Training you’ll complete

  • General Employee Training — annually
  • Hazardous Waste / RCRA Training — annually
  • DOT General Awareness — every 3 years
