Build Reliability Into Every Roll

Help DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation (DNP IAM) keep production running flawlessly in our FGR Coating and Mixing operations. You’ll blend continuous improvement leadership with hands-on troubleshooting to reduce scrap, improve quality, and increase uptime for world-class print media made in Concord, NC.

Role Snapshot

  • Process ownership: Act as the go-to specialist for FGR Coating and Mixing to safely achieve team targets.
  • Continuous improvement: Lead/document 5S and Kaizen; partner with engineers and operations to design and implement machine/process upgrades.
  • Troubleshooting: Coordinate equipment repairs with maintenance; drive process-level investigations that improve runnability and reduce defects.
  • Root cause: Review and analyze failure data; create and follow through on corrective action plans.
  • Training & standards: Write and update work instructions; train teams on new procedures, equipment, and technologies within FGR.
  • Data integrity: Audit operator data, identify misalignments, and enhance collection systems to strengthen analysis.
  • Safety & environment: Address issues proactively; retrain and document as needed.

Qualifications

  • BS in engineering technology OR AS in engineering technology + 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of pumps, piping, pressure gauges, and other fluid systems.
  • Basic electronics/electrical knowledge.
  • Proven troubleshooting capability and advanced MS Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule (7 of 14 days: 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) and flex to support 24/7 operations as needed.

Preferred Background

  • Thin film or paper web coating experience, or other high-speed rotating equipment environments.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, HAZWOPER, and ISO 14001.

  • Lifting: occasionally up to 25 lbs; infrequently 50+ lbs
