Manufacturing Process Specialist

DSN is seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist for an onsite position located in Hodges, SC. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic manufacturing environment and contribute to process improvement, quality, and material flow initiatives.

Position Overview

• Serve as the key communication link between the Hodges, CCR, and TK facilities.

• Manage and organize the flow of material, ensuring the team is focused on top priorities at all times.

• Align logistics priorities to ensure critical material is shipped on schedule.

• Drive process optimization of the blasting operation to reduce internal and external scrap.

• Conduct process and quality audits.

• Support Quality Inspectors at the final inspection station, reviewing castings at MRB and clarifying questions.

• Communicate with Quality Engineers regarding special requirements.

• Escalate issues to leadership as needed when problems occur.

Team Structure & Work Environment

• Reports directly to Quality Management.

• No direct subordinates.

• Regular interaction with Quality Engineers, Quality Inspectors, and shop floor operators.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.

• Comparable backgrounds such as Quality Inspector or Quality Supervisor experience will be considered.
