Job Overview

Support our Encapsulation Operators in the production of softgel products within a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical setting. This position involves inspecting capsules, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting production activities to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect softgel capsules for defects and report quality issues.
• Arrange capsules on drying trays as per procedures.
• Handle, move, and stage tray stacks of manufactured softgels.
• Clean encapsulation equipment and work areas following SOPs and GMP standards.
• Assist with material handling and support operators during machine operations.
• Maintain supplies of production materials.
• Adhere to safety procedures and GMP requirements.
• Report any product quality concerns or unsafe conditions immediately.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Visual acuity for inspecting capsules and making equipment adjustments.
• Basic computer skills, including Windows navigation and data entry.
• Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and communication.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and solve practical problems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 1,100 pounds.
• Pass the Ishihara Color Vision Screening and achieve 20/30 vision acuity.
• Capability to operate industrial machinery and access the manufacturing floor.

Preferences

• Previous manufacturing experience in a GMP-regulated industry.
