Manufacturing Production Control Planner

Partner with a leading manufacturer in Fort Worth, TX as a contract Production Planner embedded on-site with a high-energy team focused on throughput, accuracy, and continuous improvement. You’ll orchestrate material flow, keep work-in-progress moving, and ensure kits and paperwork are flawless before builds begin.

A day in this role

Morning: Start by reviewing work-in-progress (WIP) health—aging orders, shortages, and upcoming releases. Coordinate with production and materials teams to align priorities and solve constraints.
Midday: Validate production paperwork for completeness and accuracy before kit assembly. Monitor order progress, update schedules, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Afternoon: Rebalance production orders to smooth capacity, reconcile inventory variances, and capture process improvement ideas to elevate on-time execution.

What you’ll own

• Manage and report WIP order status, including aging, shortages, and release timing.
• Drive daily coordination across manufacturing to track material availability and order progress.
• Audit and ensure production paperwork accuracy prior to kit assembly.
• Adjust and maintain production orders to balance workflow and capacity across work centers.
• Support inventory reconciliation, process optimization, and end-to-end production coordination.

What you bring

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing planning or production control; electronics environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of production order processes and electronic component manufacturing.
• Data analysis skills and proficiency with planning software and ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience in warehouse settings and with inventory management tools.
• Clear, cross-functional communication skills.

Schedule, location, and pay

• Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, TX
• Shift: Day shift, 7 am – 4:30 pm EST (M–F), every other Friday off
• 9/80 work schedule: Over a two-week period, work 80 hours across eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day, and enjoy one scheduled day off every other week.
• Pay Range: $34 MAX

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.
