Manufacturing/Production Operator
We are hiring a Manufacturing Production Operator in Scottsdale, AZ to support the assembly and production of advanced electronic and mechanical defense systems in a manufacturing environment. This role requires experience with electronics assembly, handsoldering, cable harnessing, torque tools, PCB assembly, and production operations supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Execute assembly operations for electronic and mechanical components, including: modules, circuit boards, panels, frames, cables and harnesses.
- Perform wiring, component installation, and cable harness assembly activities.
- Conduct hand soldering on circuit boards, assemblies, and electronic components.
- Follow work instructions, manufacturing methods, and production sequencing requirements.
- Use hand tools, torque tools, soldering irons, and light industrial equipment to complete assembly tasks.
- Set up and operate basic production equipment in compliance with manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
- Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production and assembly operations.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with manufacturing and workmanship standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant work areas.
- Support production activities within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience using hand tools, torque tools, and soldering irons.
- Ability to perform basic electronic and mechanical assembly operations.
- Familiarity with measuring tools and basic math concepts used in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions, assembly procedures, and manufacturing specifications.
- Ability to work onsite in a production and manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic assembly or PCB soldering.
- Experience with cable harness assembly.
- Familiarity with IPC standards, including IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
