SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Production Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate routings and bills of materials using Syteline ERP software, assembling work order packets, and supporting efficient production scheduling.
HOURS
8:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and maintain complex master bills-of-material and work orders in Syteline ERP.
- Assemble complete drawing and work order packets with routing, due dates, and operation instructions.
- Monitor current projects, manufacturing workload, and process capabilities.
- Analyze engineering change notices and coordinate corrections with relevant departments.
- Expedite customer service and rush orders based on priority.
- Review engineering prints and releases; perform initial scheduling and material reservations.
- Create and revise routings; estimate labor hours per operation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production planning.

- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Skilled in planning and time management.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments with limited standardization.
EDUCATION/TRAINING PREFERRED
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally Syteline/Cloud Suite Industrial.
- Familiarity with material characteristics and their impact on job routing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production planning is a plus.
