    Position Overview:


    You will provide day-to-day leadership and supervision within a manufacturing operation to support productivity, schedule attainment, quality performance, and employee health and safety objectives. In this role, you will coordinate production activities, coach team members, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure operational goals are achieved. You will monitor performance, drive continuous improvement efforts, and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. This position requires availability during shift changeovers, and work hours may vary based on business and production needs. This is a compelling opportunity to lead manufacturing operations, influence process improvements, and drive measurable business results in a production environment.


    Key Responsibilities:


    + Lead, coach, and support employees within the assigned production area to achieve performance, quality, and safety objectives.

    + Direct daily work assignments and coordinate production activities to meet manufacturing schedules and production deadlines.

    + Communicate and collaborate with production teams, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to ensure efficient operations.

    + Monitor and maintain compliance with environmental, productivity, quality, and health and safety standards.

    + Identify, implement, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

    + Review production performance, maintain reports and records, and take corrective action when needed to address operational issues.

    + Monitor workplace organization and housekeeping standards and address safety concerns in a timely manner.

    + Coordinate maintenance and engineering support activities to minimize disruptions and support production requirements.

    + Manage departmental budgets and ensure adherence to approved spending plans.

    + Analyze inventory levels and support inventory management activities.

    + Procure necessary equipment and materials to support assembly and production operations.

    + Enforce company policies and procedures and apply corrective or disciplinary actions when appropriate.

    Qualifications:


    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline is desired.

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-speed production manufacturing environment.

    + Experience leading or supervising production operations in a manufacturing setting.

    + Demonstrated leadership, influence, and communication skills.

    + Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives in a team environment.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.

    + Knowledge of production, quality, safety, and environmental standards within a manufacturing environment.

    + High level of integrity and professionalism.

    + Working knowledge of Power BI is preferred.

    + Availability to support shift changeovers; work hours may vary based on business and production needs.
