Corporate Compliance, Detail Oriented, Forklift, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Lift/Move 50 Pounds, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance, Pallet Jack, Production Systems, Safety/Work Safety, Sanitation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Requirements:
- Prior manufacturing experience working in a production environment is preferred but not required. Candidates who have previous experience with operating fillers and or packaging equipment is ideal.
- Environment may be hot or cold depending on the time of the year and location of equipment in the plant.
- Accurately document process results and equipment downtimes.
- Willingness to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Supervisor instructions.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. various times during the shift.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, ascending/descending stairs and ladders.
- Previous forklift or power pallet hack certification is a nice to have.
- ** Candidates must qualify onsite for forklift and or electric pallet jack certification.
Main Responsibilities:
- Skilled operation of equipment and tasks involved with each of the job areas.
- Follow all safety work practices and adhere to plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Company, Federal and State guidelines.
- Some experience with basic sanitation tasks required from production equipment. Training provided for specific pieces of equipment.
- Attention to detail in the following order Safety, Quality and Efficiency.
