Our custom manufacturing client in the Greenfield, MA area is seeking a Manufacturing Purchaser for a direct hire opportunity.

Your qualifications for the Manufacturing Purchaser position are:

• Previous purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to understand technical production documentation and material requirements
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and business software applications
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, or Sage 100 is a plus

• $66,000 - $73,000/year depending on experience
• Direct hire, full-time opportunity
• Monday through Friday, day shift schedule

For the Manufacturing Purchaser, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Purchase materials, supplies, and services needed to support manufacturing operations
• Maintain supplier relationships and identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities
• Manage purchasing transactions from order placement through delivery
• Work closely with production, sales, and administrative teams to support business needs
• Assist with inventory accuracy, reporting, and departmental documentation
• Support initiatives focused on operational efficiency and continuous improvement
