Shift

• Second Shift

Core Responsibilities

• Execute first piece, in-process, and final inspections
• Inspect incoming vendor materials and verify outgoing customer shipments
• Interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and control plans
• Operate precision metrology: ID/OD micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMMs, Hofler gear inspection machine, tooth verniers
• Program and run manual and CNC CMMs (PC-DMIS / Modus preferred)
• Own calibration activities and records
• Identify/reject nonconformances and collaborate on corrective actions
• Guide production personnel on proper measurement techniques
• Support PPAP/ISIR, capability studies, and first article processes
• Maintain organized quality documentation and customer files
• Contribute to internal audits and supplier quality initiatives

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in manufacturing and/or quality assurance
• Skilled in blueprint reading and precision measuring equipment
• Foundational math and geometry
• Calibration experience is required
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
• Bevel gear manufacturing experience preferred
