If you thrive on meticulous measurement and clear communication, this Manufacturing Quality Assurance Inspector role puts you at the heart of product reliability. You’ll validate parts at first‑piece and in‑process checkpoints, spot and document defects, and help production teams resolve issues fast—all while aligning to customer requirements and industry standards.
What will I do?
Perform first‑article and in‑process inspections at multiple manufacturing stages.
Use precision tools—calipers, micrometers, gauges, test equipment, and CMM—to verify GD&T features, tolerances, and functionality.
Identify, document, and report nonconformities in products and components.
Partner with production to drive root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions that prevent repeat issues.
Maintain complete inspection records, measurements, test results, and corrective action documentation.
Monitor processes for adherence to established quality parameters and company policies.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards, including AS9100D and ISO 13485.
Prepare and communicate inspection reports to quality management and production teams.
Follow all safety requirements while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What are the physical realities?
Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift.
Regularly lift 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Strong close, distance, and peripheral vision, plus depth perception.
Manual dexterity for accurate handling and measurement of parts.
Stamina for repetitive tasks and sustained focus during long shifts.
Equipment: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), Measurement Gauges, Calipers and Micrometers
