When you arrive on the production floor, you’ll start by reviewing overnight build logs and incoming shipment records. Your morning may include verifying supplier parts with calipers and micrometers, flagging any deviations, and updating quality records. By midday, you’ll be collaborating with production, engineering, and global stakeholders to resolve nonconformities, driving corrective and preventive actions, and preparing for internal or external audits. You’ll close the day with End-of-Line checks, documenting results, and coaching operators on quality best practices—all in service of Nordex’s mission to make 100% renewable energy a reality.
Nordex prioritizes safe operations. You model safety in every task: understanding and following safety protocols and policies, recognizing and mitigating hazards, and using appropriate PPE (eye protection, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, hard hats). Loose-fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted. You communicate clearly to support a safe workplace and speak and understand English fluently to follow safety instructions and collaborate with supervisors and teammates.
