Role: Full-time Manufacturing Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Ellwood City, PA

A day in the life

You start your day reviewing job packets and confirming that quality control documents are complete and properly filed with each corresponding job file. On the floor, you inspect parts and products using micrometers, calipers, and other mechanical and electrical test equipment—recording results with precision. When a quality issue appears, you coordinate with the affected departments, lead root-cause discussions, and report solutions to keep production moving. You advise teams on quality control techniques that elevate the consistency of manufacturing operations and ensure our processes and policies align with ISO 9001 and 13485 requirements. Throughout the day, you’re a go-to resource for production support, blending hands-on inspection with practical, technical guidance.

What you’ll do

• Provide quality and technical guidance to production teams.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day quality problems across parts, products, and processes; involve stakeholders, coordinate actions, and communicate results.
• Coach others on effective quality control techniques to maintain and improve manufacturing quality.
• Inspect components/products using measuring tools and mechanical/electrical equipment; document and report findings.
• Ensure QC documents are processed and filed accurately with job files.
• Deliver timely production support to keep schedules on track.
• Uphold compliance with ISO 9001 and 13485 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret part drawings and tolerances.
• Knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 & 13485 or similar quality-system environments.
• Skilled with micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.
• High School Diploma.

Desired skills

• Magnetic Particle Testing experience, including certification.
• Internal auditing experience.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Day shift: 7:00am–3:30pm (varies if working overtime)
• Occasional optional Saturdays: 5:00am–1:00pm

You should be proficient in: Quality Inspection Experience
