Shape quality on the production floor while building your career. Join a growing manufacturing team offering excellent benefits, advancement potential, and hands-on work where your eye for detail makes a real impact.
A day in this role: You start on the floor, moving between workstations to observe parts as they’re made. With calipers and micrometers in hand, you verify dimensions and tolerances, spot issues early, and collaborate with production to keep output on-spec. When a nonconformance appears, you document it clearly and help trace the root cause so corrective actions stick.
What you’ll handle
Execute in-process and final inspections on components and finished goods to confirm specifications are met.
Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment) to validate dimensions and tolerances.
Monitor product quality at the source on the production floor and flag issues promptly.
Identify, record, and communicate defects, nonconformances, and quality concerns.
Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action activities to prevent recurrence.
Accurately maintain inspection logs, reports, and quality documentation.
Support implementation and upkeep of quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
Partner closely with production teams to improve processes and reduce defects.
Champion continuous improvement, including Lean, 5S, and related initiatives.
Follow all safety, environmental, and operational guidelines and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
