Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Job Description
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality complaints and drive issues through closure
- Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and problem-solving activities across manufacturing operations
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop improvement initiatives to enhance product performance
- Support APQP, PPAP, and other quality planning activities with product development and manufacturing teams
- Conduct audits, interface with customers and suppliers, and support internal and external quality systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools

The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Quality Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related
- 2+ years of Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience
- Strong root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working directly with customers on quality-related issues and corrective actions
- Understanding of quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, AIAG Core Tools, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred
