Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Little Rock, Arkansas that shapes the future by designing and building military aircraft, business jets and space systems. We are looking for experienced Manufacturing Quality Inspector I who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!

Essential Functions:
  • Interpret data, CATIA models, company standards, work instructions, and perform necessary calculations using shop math to conform detail parts, tooling, assemblies and installations and document results.
  • Perform complete inspection of components, major assemblies, sub-assemblies, production tools or parts during manufacturing, modifications, repairs & installations to determine safety or conformity to approved data, company standards and specifications.
  • Properly document findings and actions taken.
  • Interpret and verify per complex data, engineering change orders and governmental regulatory procedures and specifications and properly document results.
  • Apply technical knowledge in the fields of manufacturing and assembly, plumbing, electrical, etc. to determine conformity, approval for return to service, & airworthiness.
  • Use precision measuring guides, gauges and laboratory type instruments.
  • Inspect components, materials and products into the Quality system including cosmetic acceptability.
  • Verifies parts and components comply to purchase order, repair orders, and work order requirements including certification documents.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of aircraft experience, Technical School Training, or applicable manufacturing experience
  • Strong computer skills: Windows, Spreadsheets, etc.
  • Good communication skills and be open to suggestions and collaboration.
  • Possess hand tool knowledge necessary to verify conformity to design.
  • Strong working knowledge of math and geometry, and able to work in both Metric and English units of measure.
  • Pass vision testing, minimum 20/20 corrected and no limitations in color perception
