Job Overview
The Manufacturing Quality Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance and manufacturing processes to ensure aerospace components meet stringent regulatory, customer, and engineering requirements. This role plays a critical part in inspection, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement activities to maintain compliance with AS9100 standards and customer specifications.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (Associate degree or technical certification preferred)
1 year of experience in manufacturing quality, preferably in aerospace or regulated industries
Strong understanding of:
Blueprint reading
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
Inspection techniques and tools
Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001
Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements (AS9102)
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP/MES systems)
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification such as:
ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI)
Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and inspection software
Knowledge of root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
Experience in precision machining, composites, or aerospace assembly environments
