    Job Description Summary

    Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. This role ensures products meet stringent performance specifications and quality standards while supporting manufacturing operations. The technician applies deep technical expertise to diagnose and resolve complex issues.

    Job Description

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Perform testing, verification, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, including circuit boards, sub-assemblies, and ultrasound probes.

    • Diagnose, repair, and rework complex product failures using schematics, test results, and historical repair data.

    • Operate and maintain assembly and repair stations to assemble, align, and adjust components per engineering specifications.

    • Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units. 

    • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. 

    • May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels. 

    • Keeps daily assembly production records. 

    • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma/GED. 

    • Ability to works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. 

    • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience.

    • Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.

    • Proficiency using electronic test equipment.

    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair products using historical data and failure trends.

    • Basic computer skills (data entry, test software, documentation systems).

    • Occasional travel may be required (approximately 5–15%) to support training, cross-site collaboration, supplier visits, or customer support activities.

    • Must be flexible to travel on short notice, as business needs arise.

    Preferred Skills 

    • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
