Position: Advanced Manufacturing Technology EngineerLocation: Georgetown, KYDuration: 12 Months ContractNotes:OT: Upto 20% (every other weekend), Travel: 25%, domestic and international to Canada for meetings.An ideal candidate should be experience with full PLC programming from the scratch.Toyopuc experience is a must.Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering or Robotics Engineering. (Degree should be through an ABET accredited program).Job Description:Work with deploy new virtual safety system which will allow robots to work without fences.2+ years of Automotive Industry experience.Hands-on experience in developing and integrating robotic systems using ROS “Robot Operating System”.Exp with Vision SystemsRequirements:Proven experience in development of innovative projects in a manufacturing environmentProven experience with project management including writing detailed scopes of work, creating schedules, managing vendors/contractors, and providing regular status updatesProven use of computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) engineering software techniquesAbility to analyze and interpret engineering drawingsProven demonstration of installing manufacturing equipmentProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and TeamsWillingness and ability to travel, domestically and internationally as required (~25%).Willingness to work overtime (~20%) as required.Experience in PLC Projects, including program writing, teaching, and safety standardsEvidence of deployed machine vision systemsNice to have:Masters or PHD degree in controls, robotics or mechatronics disciplineProven experience with JSA/JHAExperience in construction managementExperience in automotive manufacturing plantProject Management certificationProven experience with securing approval of funding for projectsFamiliarity with SAE/ISO, NFPA/NEC, and UL standardsProven experience with conducting equipment risk assessmentsExperience deploying and troubleshooting vision systemsExperience integrating the following products: Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Siemens, GE, Schneider, Keyence, Cognex, IR Vision, Mitsubishi, IFM, CODESYS, Ignition, MIR, MATLAB, Visual studio, Otto, ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Universal Robots, Kepware#J-18808-Ljbffr
