Manufacturing Technician - Sandblasting

325 George St, Beckley, WV 25801

7am - 430pm, M-F

Additional overtime available based on business requirements

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Purpose of Role:Manufacturing Technicians set up, run and maintain manufacturing equipment and assembly processes. This role specifically, runs a sandblasting machine, ensuring that all equipment is working efficiently, monitoring production processes, and making adjustments or troubleshoot as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Follows production guidelines and specifications

  • Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment

  • Conducting quality checks on the functionality of parts and components

  • Adding finishing touches to the appearance of components

  • Performing minor repairs and reporting breakdowns in a timely manner

  • Keeping equipment maintenance logs

  • Collaborating with other departments to complete production orders on time

Requirements:

  • Willingness to be trained on new tasks, including a fork-lift

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Work as a team within department and with other departments and Leads

  • Ability to work scheduled hours and comply with the company policies

Required Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work with cranes

  • Ability to work in an indoor/outdoor environment.

  • Must be able to stand, sit and bend in a manufacturing environment.

  • Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
