Requirements Use existing scheduling methodology to create and modify manufacturing plans, timelines, resource usage, and utilization to ensure on-time delivery across the organization Regularly modify manufacturing plans to reflect changes in customer demand and requirements Escalate concerns about on-time delivery performance and resource utilization to enable timely adjustments to staffing levels or customer deliveries Create material pull requests and track their status to ensure all required inputs for manufacturing plans are resolved on time Work closely with the manufacturing manager to ensure adequacy and appropriateness of the manufacturing plan Generate and issue manufacturing travelers using the ERP system Work with inside sales to maintain accurate lead times and communicate schedule impacts Maintain accuracy of work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements and communicate any schedule impacts proactively Coordinate with purchasing and production staff to adjust schedules in response to supply chain changes or production challenges Maintain data relevant to production scheduling activities, including planning calendars, material data, and location data High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Manufacturing experience from a job-shop background or other technical, high-mix manufacturing environment Experience with manufacturing scheduling and familiarity with scheduling methodologies Proficient with ERP systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to identify and address potential bottlenecks Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and make well-formed, rational decisions Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
