    Job Description
    A day in this role

You start by reviewing customer demand and available capacity, then translate both into a clear daily and weekly build plan. With ERP/MRP open, you confirm materials, work orders, and BOM accuracy, and touch base with production, purchasing, maintenance, and customer service to make sure the shop floor has what it needs. As the day unfolds, you track progress, course-correct around downtime or shortages, and keep everyone aligned in the daily production meeting. Before you wrap, you publish Excel-driven reports that highlight output, inventory positions, and capacity utilization—spotting patterns and opportunities to improve the flow.

    Your impact
    • Turn customer demand and plant capacity into practical daily and weekly schedules.
    • Coordinate cross-functionally so materials, people, and equipment are in place when needed.
    • Continuously monitor execution and adjust plans for downtime, constraints, or shifting priorities.
    • Maintain accurate work orders, inventory movements, BOMs, and production records within the ERP/MRP environment.
    • Analyze production metrics, inventory levels, and capacity to uncover efficiency gains.
    • Build and distribute Excel reports that inform planning and operational decisions.
    • Join daily production meetings and collaborate across teams to keep operations running smoothly.
    Qualifications
    • 1–3+ years in a manufacturing setting with exposure to production planning, scheduling, materials, production control, or supply chain.
    • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor, IFS, or similar).
    • Strong Microsoft Excel abilities, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, plus comfort with data analysis.
    • Excellent organizational habits, analytical strength, and clear communication.
    • Background supporting production schedules, material planning, inventory control, or manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
