Manufacturing Shipping Clerk

Shipping Clerks are responsible for shipping all outgoing materials. This is a second shift position with typical hours of 3:00 pm- 12:00 am.Primary functions include, but not limited to

Shipping all outgoing items from the plant, packed in proper containersForklift drivingSafety and good housekeepingAssist in other department activities as required by supervision

Environment/ Physical Demands

Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.Requires frequent squatting, bending, stooping, sitting, and stretching.Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds of boxes and other equipment/materials.Requires correctable vision to be within the normal range for visual inspection of parts.Requires working in areas that are not ventilated or air-conditioned.Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery.Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience
