Shipping Clerks are responsible for shipping all outgoing materials.
Primary functions include but not limited to: • Shipping all outgoing items from the plant packed in proper containers • Forklift driving • Safety and good housekeeping • Assist in other department activities as required by supervision • Environment
Physical Demands: Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent squatting, bending, stooping, sitting, and stretching. Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds of boxes and other equipment/materials. Requires correctable vision to be within the normal range for visual inspection of parts. Requires working in areas that are not ventilated or air-conditioned. Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience.
