Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the manufacturing shop, including floors, machinery, and equipment.
- Ensure all areas are free of debris and hazards to promote a safe working environment.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and materials.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness standards and improve processes.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to health and safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a janitorial or maintenance role is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
