Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for supervising employees, coordinating production schedules, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing leadership and a strong ability to motivate teams, solve problems, and ensure production goals are achieved safely and efficiently.
Candidates with experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Production Manager, or Team Leader are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Supervise daily production activities and manufacturing employees.
- Coordinate staffing levels and production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Monitor production output, efficiency, and workflow performance.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and operational issues.
- Maintain organized and efficient work areas.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop production team members.
- Support employee training and cross-training initiatives.
- Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment.
- Communicate production goals and expectations to employees.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure operational success.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure products meet established quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend process improvements.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and workflow issues to minimize downtime.
Safety Compliance
- Enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with workplace regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced production or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot operational and workflow issues.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with production reporting and team coordination.
Preferred
- Experience in manufacturing, plastics, injection molding, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Experience training and developing employees.
