Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Creates and executes production schedules to ensure customer orders are completed on time while maintaining quality standards.
  • Leads daily team meetings to communicate production targets, priorities, and work assignments.
  • Verifies that first-piece inspections are completed by qualified personnel and properly documented.
  • Tracks and analyzes safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory performance metrics to achieve KPI goals.
  • Investigates operational issues, identifies root causes, and implements corrective actions.
  • Ensures accurate ERP data entry and tracking for all production activities and transactions.
  • Proactively resolves material shortages, workflow disruptions, equipment concerns, and employee-related issues.
  • Utilizes IQMS and other business systems to manage production orders, bills of materials, and inventory processes.
  • Oversees equipment setup and operation to ensure efficient production of high-quality parts.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Promotes workplace safety through incident investigations, corrective actions, and preventative safety initiatives.
  • Coordinates preventative maintenance activities to keep tools and machinery operating efficiently.
  • Drives and sustains 5S and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department.
  • Collaborates with internal departments to support production requirements and operational needs.
  • Participate in production planning and operational review meetings.
  • Develops, trains, and motivates team members to improve performance and productivity.
  • Conducts employee evaluations, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitors employee attendance and enforce company attendance policies consistently.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience of 1-2 years required.
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Training or experience in Lean Manufacturing, ERP systems, Environmental Health & Safety, and data analysis is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
  • Must be adaptable, proactive, dependable, and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours before or after scheduled shifts as business needs require.
