Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Group Leader to join our team in Wilton, CT, specifically to support the CWW night shift cleanroom production operations. The role involves ensuring the output of production and processes, ensuring a smooth transfer to Test, Certification, Integration Installation, and Customer Support Processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up a detailed production schedule within the constraints of the Manufacturing Plan and available resources.
• Ensure progress and output at minimal cost, solve problems, provide recovery plans, and inform relevant parties on deviations.
• Realize the planned output of all deliverables of Volume Production.
• Ensure the availability and usefulness of production means in cooperation with Production Engineering.
• Organize all supporting processes to realize deliverables on time and ensure a fast ramp-up for volume and customer support.
• Ensure the quality of the Volume Production output meets full product specifications through effective production processes and sufficient know-how/training.
• Ensure adequate staffing of the team to support a productive working atmosphere.
• Execute hiring and performance appraisals in concert with the Group Leader.
• Instruct team members, plan tasks, and set priorities to ensure proper and timely execution of all tasks.
• Ensure proper execution of HRM, Safety, Quality, and ISO 9000 policies and procedures.
• Incorporate Lean Manufacturing concepts in day-to-day operations, support and promote an environment that improves efficiency using 5S techniques, kaizen events, and Six Sigma concepts.
• Facilitate continuous improvement and waste reduction efforts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Leadership skills with supervisory experience.
• Bachelor"s or Associate"s Degree preferred in business or manufacturing operations.
• 5+ years in production/manufacturing in a challenging technical environment with at least 2+ years of experience in a leadership capacity including direct people management.
• Preference for candidates with a Business Engineering background.
• Experience with SAP/ERP including reporting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to hire, train, develop, retain, performance manage, and supervise manufacturing teams ranging from 10-15 employees.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing cleanroom environment located in Wilton, CT. The position operates during CWW Nights, with shifts from 6pm to 6am. The N1 shift includes Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday, while the N2 shift covers Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday. The work environment embraces Lean Manufacturing concepts and requires leaders willing to embrace new concepts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
