    What you will own

    • Gather quotes and build logistics plans that meet project-defined timelines.
    • Prepare commercial invoices and packing lists; create and track requisitions in the ERP.
    • Complete customs documentation with carriers, brokers, and forwarders.
    • Provide guidance on transport regulations to support negotiations and contracts.
    • Communicate shipment progress to production facilities and stakeholders.
    • Analyze cost drivers and performance; recommend process and spec improvements.
    • Apply cost-benefit analysis and quantitative problem-solving.
    • Benchmark logistics service with customers against SLAs, targets, and KPIs.
    • Stay current on technology and implement tools that streamline logistics.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Associate degree or 3–5 years equivalent experience required.
    • 2+ years in transportation planning or project cargo preferred.
    • Ability to read scopes of work and MSA agreements.
    • Must pass a pre-employment physical by a medical examiner to verify safe job performance capability.
    • Knowledge of global import and export requirements and compliance.
    • Experience with cost models and cost analysis.
    • JDE or SAP experience strongly preferred; ERP literacy required.
    • Process-focused with strong data analysis skills.
    • Understanding of domestic and international transportation documents.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication; organized, collaborative, detail-oriented.
    • Ability to follow instructions in writing and verbally and to communicate clearly.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
    • Spanish or German fluency is a plus.

    Where you have experience

    • Trade and regulatory: ITAR compliance and registration, customs and customs clearance, import and export, regulatory and legal contracts, regulations.
    • Logistics execution: shipping and receiving, distribution, cargo and project cargo, oversize materials, port authorities, rail transportation, transportation planning.
    • Operations and equipment: ground support equipment GSE operations and maintenance.
    • Systems: ERP and MRP platforms including JDE, SAP, and CMMS.
    • Materials and inventory: material handling and inventory management and control.
    • Commercial: B2B, commodity purchasing, international sourcing, MSAs.
    • Risk and cost: operational risk management, risk assessments, cost models.
    • Other: international travel; education foundation including High School or GED.
