At IRI, we know that our success is directly tied to our clients' success.Job DescriptionMust haves: • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or other related field (MS or BS + 3 yrs. exp.) • 3+ years' experience in systems engineering or related hardware engineering field; preferably from electrical-mechanical, machine design, medical device, automotive, or aerospace industry. • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in cross functional work environment (EE, ME, SW, & Chemistry) • Experience writing characterization and verification Test Plans and Reports. (> 3 years) • Experience with design characterization (>3 year) • Measurement test equipment experience (e.g. multi-meter, oscilloscope, data acquisition) • Experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis). • Self-starter with a sense of urgency to resolve issues and complete tasks. • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. • Able to work independently and on cross-functional teams with development groups at other facilities as well as take work direction and follow procedures. • Work effectively with team members to develop goals and plans, resolve problems, achieve goals, and coordinate efforts within and across departments.
