Manufacturing Team Leader

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable, safety-minded Manufacturing Team Leader in Acworth, GA. In this fast-paced, high-impact role, you will be responsible for leading a daily crew on our perfume liquid filling lines, driving daily production efficiency, and maintaining a strict culture of workplace safety. In a Manufacturing Team Leader job you’ll be responsible for:

• Supervising, motivating, and directing a crew of 5 to 15 production workers on the perfume filling line.

• Analyzing daily production demands and logically sorting tasks to optimize workflow and efficiency.

• Updating daily production spreadsheets with precise part numbers and total quantities filled.

• Monitoring floor inventory of components and raw materials, proactively reporting shortages.

• Interpreting and executing written batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and filling instructions.

• Enforcing safety protocols, including spill response, PPE compliance, keeping emergency exits clear, and adhering to company policies.

• Safely operating a manual hand pallet jack to move materials, components, and finished product pallets.

What you’ll need:

• Bilingual capabilities and strong verbal and written communication skills to direct teams and report to supervisors.

• Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of shift safety, and make sound floor-level decisions.

• Basic computer literacy to enter production data and part numbers into spreadsheets.

• Sharp attention to detail to cross-reference part numbers and match written instructions.

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, lift up to 20 lbs, and work overtime as needed.

• Experience operating (or willingness to learn) a hand pallet jack and a proactive mindset for factory floor safety.
