Summary

R-Tech is accepting internal applications for a Manufacturing Team Leader to support daily operations across Press, Burn, Material Handling, Saw, and Bevel. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining safety and quality standards, and providing clear direction on the shop floor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily work assignments and priorities across assigned work centers

  • Ensure team members remain productive and follow safety and quality standards

  • Address minor issues directly and escalate concerns to the Supervisor as needed

  • Assist with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving

  • Support training and onboarding of new and existing employees

  • Communicate production, staffing, or equipment issues to leadership


Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required

  • Post-secondary technical training, apprenticeship experience, or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred

  • Combination of education and experience will be considered


Minimum Qualifications

  • Current R-Tech employee in good standing

  • Demonstrated reliability and acceptable attendance

  • Experience in one or more of the assigned work centers

  • Ability to communicate clearly and lead by example

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience across multiple shop areas (Press, Burn, Saw, Bevel, Material Handling)

  • Prior experience as a lead operator, trainer, or informal go-to resource

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to redirect peers and escalate issues appropriately


Additional Expectations

  • Lead by example in safety, attendance, and conduct

  • Work collaboratively with Supervisors and Managers

  • May be required to support day or night shift coverage as needed
