Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technical Specialist I to join our team in a logistics-focused capacity. The specialist will support end-to-end product flow for hazardous materials, R&D materials, clinical drug products, and inventory management. The role requires accurate and compliant execution of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and documentation activities in accordance with SOPs, regulatory standards, and quality expectations. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Process hazardous materials, R&D materials, and product sample shipments, including international documentation and packaging.
  • Receive and dispense finished goods, WIP inventory, and packaging components to and from manufacturing facilities.
  • Pick, pack, and ship clinical finished drug products to domestic and international destinations.
  • Process rejected, returned, or expired drug products for destruction and coordinate schedules with approved destruction sites.
  • Maintain the inventory control system for drug products and conduct cycle counts with accurate reconciliation.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and compliant manner; safely operate material-handling equipment.
  • Attain proficiency in applicable SOPs, perform duties with minimal supervision, recommend SOP updates, and assist in training new team members.
  • Access internal systems, databases, and RF scanners; ensure accurate data entry, filing, and storage per corporate retention policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with 0-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and inventory control concepts.
  • Ability to meet TSA requirements, including successful background check, and to complete the Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP).
  • Strong attention to detail, prioritization, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cooperative team environment and work occasional overtime.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills:

  • IATA certification and experience with international shipping documentation.
  • Experience with warehouse material-handling equipment.

Work Schedule and Onsite Requirement:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. This role is classified as 100% onsite due to essential job functions including handling, picking, packing, and shipping materials and drug products; receiving goods and processing inventory transactions; operating material-handling equipment; accessing controlled storage areas; performing physical inventory cycle counts; managing hazardous materials and complying with safety regulations; coordinating product destruction activities; and maintaining warehouse work areas and equipment.
