Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 3rd Shift

Job Description

Join our team as a Manufacturing Technician on the 3rd shift to support the Fill/Finish Department. In this role, you will be responsible for filling, capping, labeling, and assembling both sub-assemblies and finished good products, ensuring that they meet or exceed quality specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Fill, cap, and label vials, bottles, and tubes, working both individually or as part of a team following established standard operating procedures.
  • Effectively communicate and interface with work groups to ensure the completion of daily production tasks.
  • Work in both standard and clean room environments while adhering to room-specific PPE requirements.
  • Safely operate both manual and automated filling equipment as needed.
  • Complete company training requirements on time and operate within all ISO and FDA standards.
  • Handle materials in temperature-sensitive conditions by following established guidelines and protocols.
  • Perform cleaning of production areas and equipment.
  • Maintain strong attendance performance and be ready to start work on time daily.

Essential Skills

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of related experience in a manufacturing cleanroom or warehouse environment.
  • Proven ability to follow policies, procedures, instructions, and meet schedules consistently and independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments is preferred.
  • Experience operating automated equipment is an advantage.
  • Biology or chemistry background is beneficial.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the metric system and ability to perform conversions.

Work Environment

You will work within a laboratory/cleanroom environment. The role offers a great first job in science, providing experience within kit production and large-scale manufacturing while gaining GMP experience. The company offers training for individuals with little relevant experience or those with a science AS or BS degree. Advancement opportunities abound within this global company.

This is a Contract position based out of FREDERICK, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.
