  • Demonstrate ingenuity, creativity, and a high degree of independent action and initiative in daily tasks
  • Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional partners to ensure the highest quality products, processes, or equipment to meet identified needs
  • Supply ideas and solutions to improve processes and equipment, partnering with Manufacturing Engineering for continuous improvement
  • Analyze data to identify trends and isolate cause-effect relationships; report findings and present progress and plans to engineers and/or management
  • Provide support data for engineers during qualification and validation studies
  • Plan and organize project assignments of substantial variety and complexity; initiate or maintain work schedules and project milestones; establish priorities
  • Facilitate meetings and training sessions on procedures and processes for all levels of technical personnel, including engineers
  • Support production on Saturdays as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING

  • Knowledge of and compliance with Quality System requirements (QSRs, FDA, ISO, MDD, and other relevant regulations)
  • Understanding of and experience with 5S, Lean, and waste reduction in manufacturing
  • Experience in equipment preventive maintenance and/or calibration (preferred)
  • Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems, and electrical systems
  • Experience in manufacturing processes, systems, and process/product development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively; flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour workday)
  • May be required to lift objects up to 25 lbs or more
