Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their production team in Franklin, MA. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting advanced electromechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience working with mechanical and electrical assemblies, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, cable, and motion-control components using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Perform functional testing on assemblies and finished products to ensure quality and performance standards are met
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair components and subassemblies as needed
- Accurately complete assembly, testing, and production documentation
- Support inventory management activities, including material handling, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on manufacturing processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support operational goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience assembling and testing electromechanical products or systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Windows-based applications
Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and ERP systems
- Experience working with motion-control, cable, or electrical assemblies
