Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their production team in Franklin, MA. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting advanced electromechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience working with mechanical and electrical assemblies, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, cable, and motion-control components using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Perform functional testing on assemblies and finished products to ensure quality and performance standards are met
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair components and subassemblies as needed
  • Accurately complete assembly, testing, and production documentation
  • Support inventory management activities, including material handling, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on manufacturing processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support operational goals
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience assembling and testing electromechanical products or systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
  • Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Windows-based applications

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with inventory control processes and ERP systems
  • Experience working with motion-control, cable, or electrical assemblies
