Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their production team in Franklin, MA. This hands-on role is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting advanced electromechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience working with mechanical and electrical assemblies, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical, electrical, cable, and motion-control components using engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Perform functional testing on assemblies and finished products to ensure quality and performance standards are met
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair components and subassemblies as needed
Accurately complete assembly, testing, and production documentation
Support inventory management activities, including material handling, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on manufacturing processes
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to support operational goals
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year of experience assembling and testing electromechanical products or systems
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Windows-based applications
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Familiarity with inventory control processes and ERP systems
Experience working with motion-control, cable, or electrical assemblies
