Sigma Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to support downstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations in a cGMP-regulated environment. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing careers.
You will perform hands-on production tasks, support equipment preparation, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented facility.
Key Responsibilities
Execute basic downstream manufacturing operations for bulk drug substance production
Perform weighing, dispensing, parts cleaning, and equipment setup
Support kit assembly, staging, and material handling
Assist with CIP (Clean-In-Place) and SIP (Sterilize-In-Place) processes (with supervision)
Prepare and transfer buffers and solutions
Maintain and clean manufacturing and analytical equipment
Stock materials, manage consumables, and discard expired reagents
Update and maintain controlled SOP documentation
Identify and report process deviations or equipment issues
Follow cGMP, cGDP, and safety compliance standards
Maintain clean and organized production areas using 5S principles
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and work instructions
Strong attention to detail and “right-first-time” mindset
Basic computer skills and ability to document work accurately
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to work 2nd shift and flexible schedules in a 24/7 environment
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field
1+ year experience in a cGMP-regulated industry (pharma, biotech, or medical device)
Familiarity with:
Cleanroom environments
