Position Overview
FieldBridge is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Expert for a facility in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and converting mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on heavy manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate operates with minimal supervision and brings deep hands-on expertise with CNC and manual machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on CNC and manual equipment including multi-axis lathes and mills
- Schedule and perform preventive maintenance using written instructions and checklists with no supervision required
- Troubleshoot and repair NC equipment including Mazak, Charmilles EDM, Mitsubishi EDM, Siemens Control, Mori Seiki, and Nagel TBT machines
- Assist in the installation of new mechanical and electrical equipment and maintain accurate maintenance reports
- Train other technicians in functional areas and create preventive maintenance checklists for operators
Required Qualifications
- 12–15 years of experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems)
- Hands-on experience with Mazak machines and Mitsubishi electrical components strongly preferred
- Proficiency with CNC and manual equipment including multi-axis lathes and mills
- Ability to read and follow written maintenance procedures and prepare detailed reports
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must comply with all PPE and safety requirements at all times
