Onsemi is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to support our facility in Hudson, NH. This position will assist with set-up and handling of wafers including application of Photoresist and Graphite layering. This position will be based in Hudson, NH, and report directly to the Manufacturing Manager.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm est!

- High school diploma or GED. Vocational High School Technical training or Technical trade certificate a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a technical manufacturing environment required.
- Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts. The shift schedule is Mon-Fri (6am-2:30pm).
- Spray coating experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in computer software (Microsoft Office and data base entry).
- Must be self-motivated, showing initiative and drive to exceed performance expectations.
- Strong work ethic and flexible to working hours and shift changes.
- Analytical problem solving and testing skills.
- Attention to detail required for quality output is a must.
- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow 5S, LEAN a plus.
- Able to speak and write fluently in English.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
The Manufacturing Technician performs functions associated with all SiC production including but not limited to:
- Prepare, set up, and operate seed coating equipment according to work instructions and schedules.
- Monitor coating processes to ensure uniform coverage, correct application rates, and consistent product quality.
- Mix, measure, and apply seed treatment chemicals accurately and safely, following SOPs and labeling requirements.
- Perform in‑process inspections and document production data, batch records, and quality checks.
- Identify and report equipment issues, coating defects, or process deviations to supervision or engineering.
- Perform routine cleaning, changeovers, and basic preventive maintenance on coating equipment.
- Safely handle, store, and dispose of chemicals and materials in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Loading and unloading furnaces.
- Prepare kits to be loaded and processed with correct recipes.
- Accurately collects, records, and communicates operating data for review and retention.
- Ensuring equipment is in good working condition for process optimization.
- Utilizing training to work and operate machine tools independently while maintaining standard operating procedures.
- The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for peer training to standardize SOPs and will participate in safety forum and safety excellence teams.
- Maintaining a safe work environment and enforces all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized, and 5S‑compliant work area.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
