Job Summary The Manufacturing Technician I executes fundamental unit operations in downstream manufacturing related to bulk drug substance production in a multi-product facility. This entry-level role performs routine tasks under limited supervision, adhering to cGMP and cGDP standards, while supporting production processes, equipment preparation, and documentation. Key Responsibilities P erform non-complex operations such as parts cleaning, weighing and dispensing, equipment preparation, kit assembly, and staging. Support internal duties including stocking consumables, updating SOP binders, discarding expired reagents, and reporting process anomalies. Execute CIP (clean-in-place) and SIP (steam-in-place) of tanks and manufacturing equipment under supervision. Assist with buffer preparation and transfer into tanks and bags. Conduct daily analytics and maintenance of analytical equipment. Clean and set up manufacturing equipment. Document work in compliance with cGMP and cGDP standards. Report abnormalities and deviations promptly and accurately. Maintain production areas according to 5S standards. Adhere to safety protocols and escalate unsafe situations appro priately. Required Qualifications Hi gh school diploma or equivalent. Ability to concentrate on detail-oriented work in a technical environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with computer-based systems. Ability to read and understand SOPs and document work according to cGMP standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift structure with prior notice for schedule c hanges. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Associate or bachelor’s degree in biotechnology or related field. Vocational training in biotechnology. 1+ years of experience in a cGMP-regulated industry. Education: High School
