Location: West Houston (near I-10 & Park Ten) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20–$25/hour (DOE)

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Technician I supports daily production operations by performing mechanical and electrical assembly tasks. This role ensures products are built accurately and efficiently while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components and subassemblies using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
  • Follow detailed, step-by-step work instructions to complete product builds
  • Perform repetitive PCB and electronic subassembly assembly
  • Execute hand soldering of small components to specified standards
  • Interpret and follow engineered drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Maintain clean, organized, and ESD-safe workstations
  • Accurately record production data and build completion information
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, including yield optimization and rework reduction
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or lead technicians
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven hand soldering experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Prior experience in production-line electronics assembly preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
